Meet Mrs. Renaud
Hello! Here is a little bit about myself. I grew up in Louisville and went to the University of Kentucky, where I majored in Elementary and Special Education. I later moved to Indiana and taught first grade and special education for 5 1/2 years, while working on my masters at IUPU in Ft. Wayne. I moved back "home" to the Louisville area in 2000, and began teaching at Goshen. In 2014, I completed my National Board Certification. This will be my 25th year of teaching.
My husband and I have a son, Cameron, who lives and works in Denver, CO and a daughter, Lauren, who is in her last year of residency for Orthodontics at UL. We also have a rescue golden retriever named Trevor. I enjoy the outdoors, reading, country music, traveling, and hanging out with family and friends. I am looking forward to a great year and getting to know you and your child! I believe children's success in school depends on parents and teachers working together and communicating regularly. Below are the ways you can get a hold of me. If there is anything I can do to help you, please call me at school 228-0101 at ext.101 (after school or on planning-see schedule), write me a note and attach it to the steno, or email me at [email protected]. I will stay in contact with you through the steno/agenda message, by email, and/or by phone. I know 2019-20 will be a great school year! I can't wait to get to know my new students.
